Purse Progress

Well, I'm very excited because this is the first time I've really made up a pattern. I even made up the flower intarsia part. Pretty fun stuff I tell you. Here is a shot of what it's looking like right now. I bought the beautiful Mauch Chunky raspberry color (that I used for Mom's bag) and am doing the bulk of the bag with that. I am using leftovers from Katie's sweater and Cori's bag - all those little pieces that never get used - to do the flowers.

Can't wait to finish it!! Knowing me I'll be up at midnight tonight felting. Ugh - I hope not. lol

I'm halfway with the body of the purse. You can see the bottom of the purse in the pic - it's the circle. I will be making the handles with ribbon, rubber tubing, a hole punch and some cute buttons. :O)

Is this the purse you are doing for Mia? If it is, I know she'll LOVE it! (Especially since it's her favorite color!)
