What's Growing at Your Place?

Well, today I had babysitting boys. They are a BLAST. A handful, but fun.

We played outside and noticed the pretty mini roses that I planted a couple of months ago. The fact that they are blooming is astounding, considering I have a brown thumb.

Inside, I was crocheting a pumpkin - I'm better with indoor plants... crocheted AND real. The picture doesn't do this pumpkin justice. It really is cute. I will be making more. It should make for a fun October class.

I love pumpkins for fall - they are good for September, October, and November - and they just make me happy!

When John saw my two that I've made he said, "Your Mother will love these." lol

    Tammy - thanks!

Can - Are you kidding?! I love the potholders you make!!!

I'll teach you whenever you want (for free even). :O) The pumpkins are just single stitch - nothing else. Yes, there is some decreasing, etc. but that is very simple - promise.

(I know that this is completely random) but is Katie okay? She hasn't been on her blog since last month (which isn't that long, it's only been 7 days but that's a long time to not hear from her!)

    Whit says:

Ginny, thanks for asking about Katie. We have a rule at our house that unless your list is done you don't have access to the computer. It has been 7 days since Katie has done her list. :O) I imagine she'll do it tomorrow and be back on (if she misses a week, she usually catches back up the next). I will be posting a picture of her in a few minutes - picture day!!

Tell her to get cracking on her list! :)

LOL - I'll tell her, Ginny!!!

I'm here, I'm here. Sorry, I got a LITTLE behind... but I'm back and I'm staying.

Okay, I LOVE our roses! There so idy-bidy.
